Barefoot Bushcraft

You will have the opportunity to learn more about your world, connect with yourself and the earth, as well as learn valuable the wonders of nature while enjoying hands-on activities in the great outdoors. There will be a demonstration table with a couple of skulls; archery fear for people to try with the big rubber head arrows; dog sled and a couple sled dogs for display only. Come and see a fire demonstration with flint and steel and test your skills to see if you can light a cotton ball on fire with a Ferro Rod (like flint and steel); as well as a large canvas tent with wood stove for carnival attendees to have a look at.  They will also be dressed up in Voyageur inspired clothing with the capote jacket and hat, etc.

You’ll find the Barefoot encampment in the lower creek area via from the east parking lot.  Saturday 10-5 & Sunday 9-5
